Don Middleberg - With more than 30 years in the communications business, he has created innovative and effective programs for such companies as American Express, AXA Financial, Consumer Reports, Dreyfus, Gartner, IBM, Reuters and United Airlines. Don’s first firm, Middleberg & Associates, started in 1989 with core competencies in corporate and financial services and expanded by attracting clients in technology, consumer goods, publishing and life sciences. In 2000, the agency became Euro RSCG Middleberg when it was acquired by Euro RSCG, the largest communications division within Havas, the world`s sixth-largest communications group.
Christine Shock - As President of Shock PR, Inc., Christine Shock brings the benefit of 20 years of senior-level public relations and analyst relations experience on both the corporate and agency side to her clients. She helps clients achieve their business goals by focusing on building and maintaining strong, interactive, beneficial relationships with the media and industry analysts. In her career, Christine held a number of strategic management positions at major technology organizations and has overseen Fortune 500 as well as emerging company accounts at PR agencies.
Richard Weiner - Richard Weiner is an author, lecturer, lexicographer, and public relations consultant. His 23 books include The Skinny About Best Boys, Dollies, Green Rooms, Leads, and Other Media Lingo, Webster`s New World Dictionary of Media and Communications, Professional`s Guide to Public Relations Services and Professional`s Guide to Publicity. His public relations firm, Richard Weiner, Inc., specialized in marketing communications, notably the introduction of the Cabbage Patch Kids. In 1986, Richard Weiner, Inc. merged with Porter Novelli and Weiner now is Senior Consultant at Porter Novelli in New York. Weiner has conducted over 100 workshops for the Public Relations Society of America and other groups.
Ray Kotcher - Ray Kotcher is a Senior Partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Ketchum, a unit of Omnicom Group and one of the world’s largest public relations agencies. Ray joined Ketchum in 1983 as Vice President, moved to President of the agency in 1992, and became CEO in June 2000. Tom Fieldler - Tom Fiedler, Dean, College of Communication Boston University, M.S.Tom Fiedler began his tenure as Dean of the College of Communication on June 1, 2008, following a distinguished career in journalism. After graduating from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy with a bachelor’s in engineering, he earned a master’s in journalism at COM. Later, he joined the Miami Herald, where he would work for more than 30 years, as an investigative reporter, a political columnist, the editorial page editor, and finally, the executive editor, from 2001 to 2007.
